We capture significant events in a person’s life by transferring pictures and similar memorabilia unto cloth and transforming them into a quilt.
Upon receipt of pictures, a depiction of the proposed quilt will be created and sent to purchasers of twin, full, queen or king size quilts for approval. Upon receipt of signed approval, construction will begin. If paying by charge, your account will not be charged until the shipping date.
Our quilts are custom-made by professional home crafters. Because each quilt is individually made, you will have variations unique to each quilt. Our quilts are machine quilted with some hand quilting used when design appropriate and in the finishing.
Images are transferred to specially treated fabric via an ink jet color printer. Cotton fabrics are pre-washed to avoid bleeding and shrinkage. All photo quilts are sandwiched with 100% cotton batting. All quilt tops are made of 100% cotton except for quilts requiring specialty fabrics such as some wedding and anniversary quilts. Wall hangings with embellishments and unique fabrics are not meant to be laundered, although many can be laundered. When appropriate we use a heat transfer process to capture the photo on fabric.
All cotton photo quilts can be machine washed alone, cold water, no bleach, delicate cycle. Line or air dry.
We design your quilt from the pictures you send us. We can remove some blemishes and will crop and resize pictures to fit a particular block size, but we can not make a bad picture good. You can e-mail or mail pictures to us. Originals sent through the mail will be returned to you.
All quilts are made in a smoke free environment.
